One of the biggest advantages to supporting your talented employees is retention. When you take the time to pour over applications and conduct so many interviews to find the person that is the perfect match for the position, as well as your company, then why wouldn’t you want to do everything you can to keep them?

If your thinking to yourself, keeping these employees I worked so hard to find is a good pursuit, then thinking of ways to support them and make them happy is the next logical step. There are multiple studies that show employees who are happy are more likely to stay longer with their current company as well as show loyalty than those employees who only view it as a job. They are also more productive and are more likely to bring other employees to the company with similar desirable traits.

All these good things will build on each other, happy employees working hard and bringing in other employees who will work hard because they are happy leads to a better profit margin, which allows your company to grow. At the end of the day any company ultimately wants to grow in their respective fields. So why wouldn’t you give yourself the best chance possible to accomplish this.

Even if you are a little guy who doesn’t necessarily have the amount of staff that needs a human resources department, doesn’t mean you can’t have those resources available. Big companies can even cut back on what they spend on their employees while still offering them what they need to do their job. You can keep your staff happy by supporting your talented workers with a company who can handle human resource and payroll issues among other commonly needed services. You can have the best of both worlds, retaining the employees you worked so hard to find by keeping them happy while keeping costs down by using an outside company who specializes in the type of support you’re looking for.

Basketball! I was fortunate enough to play college basketball all 4 years and in 2013 we won the NCAA DII National Championship.

Getting to know prospective franchise buyers. I love hearing about their goals and dreams they want to achieve through entrepreneurship.

What is your favorite color?

Orange! Yes, it is one of Nextaff’s main colors but it was my favorite before coming to Nextaff. In the franchising world, I’m known as “Orange pants guy”.
