Our ownership is made up of a group of seasoned entrepreneurs that have collectively launched well over 30 companies during their careers. Co-Founder John Snellings is a 20+ year veteran in the staffing and recruiting industry. He and John Smith are owner/partners in not only multiple Nextaff locations, but also in the technology recruiting firm PeerSource (established 2011) as well as a talent development company called PSN Staffing. One of John and John’s goals, now that they are both on the backside of 40 years old, is to identify, fund and mentor other would-be entrepreneurs within the Nextaff brand. Growing up in rural Kansas, John Snellings had the benefit of watching his father (John Sr) provide for their family of six through routine 80+ hour work weeks. “Senior” split his efforts and can-do attitude between a stable/full-time W-2 job, and having a continuous side business such house painting, tree trimming, and cutting firewood. John applied that work ethic example growing up to both labor-intensive jobs for area farmers and athletics. Hard work, well beyond talent, earned John an opportunity to play football for legendary coach Bill Snyder at Kansas State University where he met his future wife Christina. After suffering a career ending injury, he launched his first business at the young age of 19. Today, John and his wife are serial entrepreneurs with experience building more than 20 companies as Co-Founders and/or CEO. John has been in the staffing and recruiting industry since 1999 hiring over 10,000 employees while launching 8 firms in a range of verticals including commercial, professional, IT/technology, accounting/finance and healthcare. As one of the earliest franchise owners at Nextaff, John not only is a Co-Founder at of Nextaff Denver, but is also a partner in the Nextaff Phoenix, Orlando, and Sarasota offices. John currently owns the expansion rights to several additional Nextaff healthcare territories and plans to open new locations in 2023 and beyond. John and Chris are the proud parents of 4 amazing kids/young adults; Kylie, Sami, Peyton, and Jay. Although the Snellings have lived in beautiful Denver, CO for more than 22 years, John is quick to point out that he is and will continue to be a Kansas City fan; whether it be the Chiefs, Royals, or the BBQ. New to the empty nest life with their own kids in college, they enjoy travel and spending time at the beach or boating in sunny Florida. Every November through January, John may be found in the fields of Kansas with his trusted German Shorthaired Pointer Raleigh hunting pheasants and quail. Passionate about giving deserving every-day people a great opportunity in business, John is always interested in meeting with would-be entrepreneurs and explaining to them his program of Co-Launching Nextaff healthcare branches around the US.
