The Role Intuition Plays In Hiring Quality Talent

What role does intuition play in hiring quality talent? The correct answer is it doesn’t — or rather it shouldn’t.

By the time your prospective employee walks in for their interview, you’ve already done a ton of work: wording and rewording the job description to attract quality talent, weeding through a deluge of resumes, selecting the ones you think might prove out and finally the interview itself, often driven more by emotion than by logic.

If it works out, great. Maybe the hunch paid off but if it doesn’t and they turn out to be an obstinate, under-performing so-and-so, you’re out the time and money it took to bring them up to speed. And depending on their reaction to your less than stellar opinion of their work, they might prove a lot more to difficult to fire than to hire.

We at Nextaff have invented a way to circumvent this scenario. We’re not interested in guessing. We’re interested in enabling you to hire quality talent that will prove to be an asset to your company. Quality talent that fits the job description, that meets your needs, that adapts easily to your company’s ethos, that is worth what you pay them and more. By the time that candidate sits down to talk to you; they’ve already been through a vetting process that ensures you won’t be wasting your time on a hunch.

Exactly how we do it is proprietary. We can only tell you that it’s called the X-FACTOR and it works. To find out more, download our free white paper on “Perfecting the Perfect Hire”.
